Position Overview
As the Associate Manager, you support the General Manager in the creation of strategic plans, managing the execution of plans to ensure a profitable business. Associate Managers are key decision makers in the absence of the General Manager, in addition to owning their duty of responsibility. Success is achieved through operational excellence, optimizing talent and new ways of selling, while ensuring the highest level of brand integrity standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business processes.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve concerns, and manage expectations.Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster skill development and collaboration.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Prepare and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and technical specifications.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.Develop, test, and implement applications to support organizational goals and improve operational efficiency.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.Manage and oversee project development from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Experience in eCommerce & Retail leading Program Management
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field, Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in managing POS, mPOS projects, Omni-channel initiatives like BOPIS, BOSS & SFS, digital technology projects managing stores
- 5+ years of experience in people management
- Strong experience with agile program management methodologies
- Strong influencing & communication skills and a highly collaborative approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills and desire to dive into prioritize work as needed to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with, and influence, people on all levels
- Effective leadership and presentation skills and experience in leading multiple diverse teams in a global environment to achieve results
